For all those who missed the extremely informative conference on atypical employment relationships for women in the arts and culture sector on May 4, 2002 in Linz, there is now a comprehensive documentation
In addition to all the presentations (tax law, trade license yes or no, insurance options, childcare allowance, artists' insurance, problems for migrants and social framework conditions for atypical employment), it contains a detailed list of literature on the subject and advice and contact points that can provide specific information.

Dokumentation

Für all jene, die die äusserst informative Tagung über atypische Beschäftigungsverhältnisse für Frauen im Kunst- und Kulturbereich am 4. Mai 02 in Linz versäumt haben, gibt es jetzt eine umfangreiche Dokumentation.
Sie beinhaltet neben allen Referaten (Steuerrecht, Gewerbeschein ja oder nein, Versicherungsmöglichkeiten, Kinderbetreuungsgeld, KünstlerInnenversicherung, Probleme für MigrantInnen und gesellschaftliche Rahmenbedingungen atypischer Beschäftigung), eine ausführliche Literaturliste zum Thema und Beratungs- und Anlaufstellen, die gezielt Auskunft geben können.

One of the National Socialist concentration camps was exclusively for women: Ravensbrück. Thousands of Austrian women were deported there by the National Socialists. Despite this, Ravensbrück is not a household name in this country, nor have the life stories of the murdered women been given the attention they deserve.

Unter den nationalsozialistischen Konzentrationslagern existierte eines, das ausschließlich für Frauen bestimmt war: Ravensbrück. Tausende österreichische Frauen wurden von den NationalsozialInnen dorthin verschleppt. Trotzdem ist hierzulande Ravensbrück weder ein Begriff, noch wurden die Lebensgeschichten der ermordeten Frauen gebührend beachtet.

Mit einem dezentralen Veranstaltungsprojekt in Kooperationen mit Kulturvereinen und Künstlerinnengruppen starte FIFTITU%.

Linz, März 1999

Das Thema "Frauen in der Kultur" wurde damit erstmals offensiv in der Öffentlichkeit in Oberösterreich positioniert. Die Webseiten der frauen.kultur.woche sind als Archiv erhalten, die Dokumentation (FIFTITU% - Susanne Blaimschein) ist leider ausverkauft, kann aber im Büro angeschaut und kopiert werden.

FIFTITU% is launching a decentralized event project in cooperation with cultural associations and artists' groups.

The topic of "women in culture" was thus proactively positioned in the public eye in Upper Austria for the first time. The websites of frauen.kultur.woche are preserved as an archive, the documentation (FIFTITU% - Susanne Blaimschein) is unfortunately sold out, but can be viewed and copied in the office.
