A pink noise Girls Rock Camp is all about music. At the beginning of the camp week, you can try out bass, guitar, drums, keyboard, electronics and vocals in our instrument courses. For the rest of the week, you will rehearse with your newly formed band and your band coaches, who will be at your side throughout the week. At the big final concert at the end of the week, you will take to the stage and present your new songs! In addition, there are many workshops on the subject of music: video, musical stories, stage, performance, concert event, effects equipment, sound engineering, and much more

Bei einem pink noise Girls Rock Camp dreht sich alles um Musik. Am Beginn der Camp-Woche kannst du in unseren Instrumentenkursen Bass, Gitarre, Schlagzeug, Keyboard, Electronics und Gesang ausprobieren. Den Rest der Woche probst du mit deiner neu gegründeten Band und deinen Bandcoaches, die dir die ganze Woche zur Seite stehen. Bei dem großen Abschlusskonzert am Ende der Woche, stehst du auf der Bühne und präsentierst deine neuen Songs! Darüber hinaus gibt es viele Workshops rund um das Thema Musik: Video, Musical Herstories, Bühne, Performance, Konzertveranstaltung, Effektgeräte, Tontechnik, uvm.

Wir freuen uns den FIFTITU%-Jahresrückblick 2013 mit diesem wunderbaren Plakat vorstellen zu dürfen: TA...TA...TA...TAAA...

Schwerpunkt der Arbeit von FIFTITU% ist, sich für die Verbesserung der Rahmenbedingungen für Frauen im Kunst- und Kulturbereich ein zusetzten.

FIFTITU% forderte wieder einmal mehr die Umsetzung versprochener Maßnahmen (Kulturleitbild OÖ, etc.) Diesbezüglich wurden folgende Schwerpunkte thematisiert: Kultureinrichtungen der öffentlichen Hand, Quoten in Institutionen, Förderungen/Förderberichte, Arbeitsbedingungen – Existenzsicherung, Sichtbarkeit von Künstler_innen. Offene Briefe, Feministische Grußkarten etc. gehörten mit zu den Maßnahmen.

The focus of FIFTITU%'s work is to improve the conditions for women in the arts and cultural sector.

FIFTITU% once again called for the implementation of promised measures (Upper Austrian cultural mission statement, etc.): Public cultural institutions, quotas in institutions, funding/funding reports, working conditions - securing livelihoods, visibility of artists. Open letters, feminist greeting cards, etc. were also part of the measures.

20. October - November 17, 2013 at Stadtraum Linz and the Old City Hall

The project "Lost Territories? Women* in public space." explores the visibility of women* and their achievements. The level of analysis for this was the public space of Linz, with monuments and street names in particular being questioned with regard to the representation of women*. Temporary coverings of prominently placed monuments to male protagonists in Linz specifically point to a lack of visibility of the cultural achievements of female artists and scientists, even in the present day.

20. Oktober – 17. November 2013 im Stadtraum Linz und im Alten Rathaus

Das Projekt "Lost Territories? Frauen* im öffentlichen Raum." fragt nach der Sichtbarkeit von Frauen* und ihren Leistungen. Analyseebene dafür war der öffentliche Raum von Linz, vor allem Denkmäler und Straßennamen wurden auf die Repräsentation von Frauen* befragt. Temporäre Verhüllungen von prominent platzierten Denkmälern männlicher Protagonisten in Linz weisen gezielt auf eine mangelnde Sichtbarkeit der kulturellen Leistungen von Künstler_innen und Wissenschaftler_innen auch in der Gegenwart.

On board were the experts: Marty Huber, Gin Müller and maiz + Reugee Protest Vienna.
The topics of "Queerfeminist strategies", "Activist techniques" and "Media of self-determined protest" were the subject of lively discussion and knowledge exchange.

Mit an Bord waren die Expert_innen: Marty Huber, Gin Müller und maiz + Reugee Protest Vienna.
Zu den Themen "Queerfeministische Strategien", "Aktivistische Techniken" und "Medien des selbstbestimmten Protetes" wurde angeregt diskutiert und Wissen ausgetauscht.

Wir als Organisatorinnen sind wieder wie letztes Jahr vom Erlebnis und den Ergebnissen begeistert!

FIFTITU% bietet jedes Jahr Technik Workshops speziell für Künstler_innen, Kulturarbeiter_innen und Veranstalter_innen an.
Kulturinstitutionen und auch „Freie Kulturinitiativen“ sind vor hetero-, sexistischen Rollenmustern nicht gefeit.
Vor allem der Kunst- und Kulturbereich in seiner Rolemodelfunktion ist dahingehend immer wieder kritisch zu reflektieren.

FIFTITU% offers technology workshops specifically for artists, cultural workers and event organizers every year.
Cultural institutions and "independent cultural initiatives" are not immune to hetero-, sexist role models.
The arts and culture sector in particular, in its role model function, must be critically reflected upon time and again in this regard.

The radio program 52Radiominuten by FIFTITU% has been providing information on equality and gender in the arts and culture every 4th Monday of the month since May 2009. It is broadcast on Radio Fro. In four sections, it strengthens the public perception of women working in the arts and culture and brings them to the attention of the public, stays on the ball in terms of cultural policy and addresses controversial topics. In addition, a permanent development of the topics can be followed via audio archive since May 2009.

Die Radiosendung 52Radiominuten von FIFTITU% informiert seit Mai 2009 jeden 4. Montag im Monat zu Gleichstellung und Gender im Kunst und Kulturbereich. Sie wird auf Radio Fro ausgestrahlt. Sie verstärkt in vier Rubriken die öffentliche Wahrnehmung von Kunst- und Kulturarbeiterinnen und bringt sie an die Öffentlichkeit, bleibt kulturpolitisch am Ball und spricht brisante Themen an. Darüber hinaus ist eine permanente Entwicklung der Themen via Audioarchiv seit Mai 2009 verfolgbar.

Der Saal füllt sich. An die 40 Besucher_innen haben es in die Stadtwerkstatt geschafft.

c.t. Marlene Streeruwitz und die Veranstalterin betreten die Bühne. Frau Streeruwitz will nur die Lesung gefilmt haben. Es gab mal eine blöde Geschichte mit einer Bilderzeitung wegen Mitgefilmter und veröffentlichter Gespräche. Das ist gern vermeidbar.
Eine Gebärdendolmetschein übersetzt. Mimik, Gestik und Sprache. Alle Sinne sind beeindruckbar.

Es folgt eine Fragenrunde an die Autorin. Die Fragen direkt. „Das wird mir alles nicht passieren…Wie bleibe ich FeministIn.“ Zum heutige Abend „mit feministischen Grüßen“ steht hinten an der Wand am Banner. Frau Streeruwitz antwortet ausführlich. Die Zeit vergeht wie im Flug.
