About Mary Cow
With her passion for music, Mary Cow has always used her art to stand up for the rights of women* in a macho society. As an artist, activist, author and musician, she uses her powerful lyrics and stirring music to express her commitment to justice and equality. Mary Cow's song "Mit barer Münze" addresses the urgent need for safe spaces, free from sexualized violence.
"Art breaks down barriers and activism unites people with a common goal."
This is the aim of the workshop: to involve local and international artists and activists in the same goal, to make the problem of sexualized violence in public and semi-public spaces visible and to demand the right to a free, inclusive and just city for all people, regardless of their origin.
Open rehearsal
For all those who are unable to attend the workshop but would like to take part in the performance on March 8, there will be an open rehearsal.
