Rosa Reitsamer: is a sociologist and lives in Vienna. Her main areas of interest are representations of women in the visual arts and popular culture

The two-part workshop begins with an introduction and a closer definition of the relationship between pop music, feminism and anti-racism. Various historical and current examples will be discussed and a fanzine and/or poster on the topic will be produced collectively. (all genders!)
After a break, we will take a theoretical and practical approach to the question in the second part of the workshop: What makes a good DJ? What do they need to know and what do they need to be able to do? DJ-ing can be practiced on the available DJ equipment. Bring records, CDs and headphones if available! (Women and transgender only!)
