Abschlussveranstaltung, 20.11.03

FIFTITU% beteiligte sich 2003/2004 an der EQUAL-EntwicklungspartnerInnenschaft "ARTWORKS", einem österreichweiten EU-finanzierten Projekt zum Thema Kultur und Beschäftigung. FIFTITU% hat germeinsam mit dem Institut für Kulturkonzepte eine Gründerinnenwerkstatt fü Künstlerinnen in Oberösterreich angeboten. Von Jänner bis Oktober 2004 wurden 25 Künstlerinnen bei der Entwicklung von künstlerischen Dienstleistungen und damit dem Schritt in die Selbstständigkeit unterstützt.

FIFTITU% participated in 2003/2004 in the EQUAL development partnership "ARTWORKS", an Austria-wide EU-funded project on culture and employment. Together with the Institute for Cultural Concepts, FIFTITU% offered a start-up workshop for female artists in Upper Austria. From January to October 2004, 25 female artists were supported in the development of artistic services and thus the step into self-employment.

Since July 2003 FIFTITU% has been actively working on the EQUAL project ARTWORKS - Artistic Services for the 3rd Sector. The task of FIFTITU% is to organize a start-up workshop for female artists together with the Institute for Cultural Concepts (Vienna).

Seit Juli 2003 arbeitet FIFTITU% aktiv an dem EQUAL-Projekt ARTWORKS - Künstlerische Dienstleistungen für den 3. Sektor. Die Aufgabe von FIFTITU% ist es, gemeinsam mit dem Institut für Kulturkonzepte (Wien) eine Gründerinnen-Werkstatt für Künstlerinnen zu organisieren.

Anlässlich des diesjährigen AbsolventInnentages der Johannes Kepler Universität Linz fand von 22. Mai - 6. Juni 2003 die Ausstellung "framing" im Ausstellungsraum der Johannes Kepler Universität statt.

Eine gemeinsame Veranstaltung von FIFTITU% - Vernetzungsstelle für Frauen in Kunst & Kultur in OÖ, der Stabsstelle für Frauenförderung Uni/Linz sowie dem Institut für Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung Linz.

On the occasion of this year's Graduates' Day of the Johannes Kepler University Linz, the exhibition "framing" took place in the exhibition room of the Johannes Kepler University from May 22 to June 6, 2003.

A joint event of FIFTITU% - Networking Center for Women in Art & Culture in Upper Austria, the Office for the Advancement of Women at the University of Linz and the Institute for Women's and Gender Studies Linz.

Der mobile Frauenraum trans.modul erlaubt durch seine Modulbauweise Flexibilität, ist variabel und passt sich den örtlichen Gegebenheiten an. In weiterer Folge entsteht somit ein unterschiedlich bespielbares Raumkonzept, das verschiedenste Nutzungen ermöglicht. Im Spannungsfeld zwischen Ein- und Durchblicken, Öffnung und Rückzug werden frauenspezifische/kulturpolitische Inhalte vermittelt, erlebbar und spürbar gemacht.

The mobile women's space trans.modul allows flexibility due to its modular design, is variable and adapts to the local conditions. The result is a spatial concept that can be used in a variety of ways and enables a wide range of uses. In the field of tension between insights and vistas, opening and retreat, women-specific/cultural-political content is conveyed, made tangible and perceptible.

The documentation of the frauen.kultur.woche is available as a 140-page publication with presentations and photos of the projects, many addresses of artists and organizers at FIFTITU%. Interested parties are welcome to make a copy. Unfortunately the documentation is sold out.

Die Dokumentation der frauen.kultur.woche ist als 140 Seiten Publikation mit Präsentationen und Fotos der Projekte, vielen Adressen von Künstlerinnen und Veranstalterinnen bei FIFTITU% einzusehen. Interessierte koennen sich gerne etwas kopieren. Leider ist die Dokumentation ausverkauft.

Atypische Beschäftigungsverhältnisse für Frauen in Kunst und Kultur

Für all jene, die die äusserst informative Tagung über atypische Beschäftigungsverhältnisse für Frauen im Kunst- und Kulturbereich am 4. Mai 02 in Linz versäumt haben, gibt es jetzt eine umfangreiche Dokumentation.
Sie beinhaltet neben allen Referaten (Steuerrecht, Gewerbeschein ja oder nein, Versicherungsmöglichkeiten, Kinderbetreuungsgeld, KünstlerInnenversicherung, Probleme für MigrantInnen und gesellschaftliche Rahmenbedingungen atypischer Beschäftigung), eine ausführliche Literaturliste zum Thema und Beratungs- und Anlaufstellen, die gezielt Auskunft geben können.

For all those who missed the extremely informative conference on atypical employment relationships for women in the arts and culture sector on May 4, 2002 in Linz, there is now a comprehensive documentation
In addition to all the presentations (tax law, trade license yes or no, insurance options, childcare allowance, artists' insurance, problems for migrants and social framework conditions for atypical employment), it contains a detailed list of literature on the subject and advice and contact points that can provide specific information.

Ein Projekt von FIFTITU% in Kooperation mit Akku Steyr, Bruckmühle Pregarten, Frauentreff Rohrbach, Kanal Schwertberg, Literaturnetzwerk Ried/Innkreis, Local-Bühne Freistadt und Waschecht Wels

Unter den nationalsozialistischen Konzentrationslagern existierte eines, das ausschließlich für Frauen bestimmt war: Ravensbrück. Tausende österreichische Frauen wurden von den NationalsozialInnen dorthin verschleppt. Trotzdem ist hierzulande Ravensbrück weder ein Begriff, noch wurden die Lebensgeschichten der ermordeten Frauen gebührend beachtet.

One of the National Socialist concentration camps was exclusively for women: Ravensbrück. Thousands of Austrian women were deported there by the National Socialists. Despite this, Ravensbrück is not a household name in this country, nor have the life stories of the murdered women been given the attention they deserve.
