"Mane" means "I" in the Wolof language and is also the title of the documentary film by director Sandra Krampelhuber. She filmed the story of two women from Senegal. The protagonists are Toussa, a rapper from Dakar, and Emodj, a wrestler from southern Senegal.

We took part in a 2-day workshop "Queer and LGBTIA language in theory and practice" at the beginning of November. The aim was to take measures to establish a non-discriminatory and sensitive use of language. The workshop was organized by FIFTITU%.

Interculturality is seen as a desirable goal for dealing positively with borders, or as a term to be criticized that cements borders. Little thought is given to intercultural women's policy.
