The Fiftitu% Networking Agency for Women* in Art and Culture has been awarded the Grand Provincial Prize for Initiative in Cultural Work.

"Every year, the province of Upper Austria awards Provincial Prizes for Culture and Talent Promotion Awards in various categories in order to recognize and reward artistic creation. "Outstanding artistic creation is a great enrichment for our state," explains Governor Thomas Stelzer: "By bringing this creation to the fore with the presentation of the State Prizes for Culture, we document its importance, which is formative for the image of our state."

The "Grand Provincial Prize for Culture", and thus one of the highest cultural awards in the country, will be awarded in 2023:

• In the literature category ("Adalbert Stifter Prize") Anselm Glück
• In the visual arts category ("Alfred Kubin Prize") Margit Palme.

The "Grand Provincial Prize for Culture" is endowed with 11,000 euros each.

The Grand Provincial Prize for Initiative Cultural Work will be awarded in 2023:

• FIFTITU% - Networking Center for Women* in Art and Culture in Upper Austria, Linz

The prize is endowed with 7,500 euros.

The Small Provincial Prize for Initiative Cultural Work in the amount of 2,700 euros each is awarded to the
MEDIEN KULTUR HAUS, Wels, and the cultural association FRIKULUM, Weyer.

The "Provincial Prizes for Culture", each endowed with 7,500 euros, are awarded to:

• Visual Arts: Mag.a Nicole Six and UnivProf. Mag. Paul Petritsch, Vienna
• Experimental and interdisciplinary forms of artistic work: Kulturverein Time`s Up, Linz
• Cultural Studies and Humanities: UnivProf.in Dr.in Gabriella Hauch, Vienna
• Literature: Karin Peschka, Vienna

Talent promotion awards in the amount of 5,400 euros received:

• Visual Arts:

• Experimental and interdisciplinary forms of artistic work:

The presentation of the Provincial Prizes for Culture and the Talent Promotion Awards by Governor Mag. Thomas Stelzer will take place on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 in the Stone Hall of the Linz Landhaus."
