The theme of this year's FIFTITU% cruise is "Traveling merchants of musical resistance". This year we will again have three themed tables on board to which we invite discussion.

Table 1 "Feminist tendencies in popular music" or "Madonna, Missy Elliot, Lady Gaga and Co" - Expert: Helene Grießlehner (musician and musicologist).
Table 2 "Girls Rock Camp - Linz" - Expert: Ulli Mayer (art mediator, cultural worker, organizer of the Girls Rock Camp)
Table 3 "Music as resistance" (riot girls, queerness in music, ...)" - Birgit Michlmayr (musician with Mayr, First Fatal Kiss, Mutt/Mayr/Hackl, Nincompoop and label operator (Unrecords).

This trip is intended to be a fun way of acquiring and exchanging knowledge. All passengers on board are knowledgeable and will exchange ideas on "Music as Resistance", "Feminist Tendencies in Popular Music" and the "Girls Rock Camp - Linz" planned for 2015.

The two boat trips will take place on Sunday, June 29. The meeting point is the landing stage of the MS-Helene in Linz/Urfahr in the area of the Urfahr fairground. The skippers* Rosi Kröll and Ursula Kolar will take turns steering the ship together with Captain* Kastler.

Timetable:
09:30 Meeting 1st boat tour (MS-Helene landing stage)
10:00 - 11:30 Boat trip 1st round
11:30 Meeting 2nd boat round (MS-Helene landing stage)
12:00 - 13:30 Boat trip 2nd round

We sail up the Danube towards Ottensheim, from there back to Linz towards the port and then back to the city center. There the passengers change and we make a 2nd round

21 people can take part per boat trip. Please register as soon as possible!

Cost contribution for boat trip, knowledge acquisition, sandwiches and cake: from 5 euros (if necessary, a social price can also be agreed :-) )
