In mid-May, the event "FORUM KEP: Pay the Artist now!" took place at the Theater Phönix. There, the invited guests discussed the topic mentioned above.
In the current edition of 52 radio minutes, we hear:
Doris Lang-Mayerhofer, City Councillor for Culture, Tourism, Creative Industries and Markets, with words of welcome.
Sheri Avraham and Michael Strasser, both from the working group "pay the artist now!". They talk about their working group and the information tour.
Elfriede Eberhard presents a best-practice example from the Arts and Culture Department of the Province of Salzburg on the fair pay process.
A short intro by Oona Valarie Serbest, Chairwoman of the Linz City Cultural Advisory Board and FIFTITU% Managing Director. She moderated the event together with Olivia Schütz, Managing Director of Theater Phönix.

The event was organized by the Linz City Cultural Advisory Board and Linz Kultur in cooperation with the working group "pay the artist now!" and Theater Phönix.

• Welcome to the PRIDE CITY, the heart of the new concept for linzpride 2024!
  After the Pride Parade through the streets of Linz, this year on July 6 the PRIDE CITY invites you to spend the afternoon in an atmosphere of community and celebration. The whole thing will take place from 2 pm on and around the OK Platz in Linz.
• FIFTITU% invites FLINTA* artists to apply with queer-feminist art for the exhibition "entangled homes" . 'entangled homes' explores how notions of home, identity, family and home are intertwined with power relations such as gender, sexuality, class and colonialism.
  The exhibition explores networks and intersections of physical and digital spaces and seeks artistic works that develop alternative narratives. the selected works will beshown from September 5 to 13, 2024 at the WHA Gallery in Linz by FIFTITU% as part of the Ars Electronica Festival.
  Submission deadline is July 18.
