The transcultural women's political alliance Feminism and Riot invited on March 8, 2018,
International Women's Day for a joint protest performance in Linz.
2018 WE WILL NO LONGER DISCUSS, WE WILL ACT!
2018 - the patriarchy is firmly in the saddle. Politics is made almost exclusively by men for men.
Despite the upturn in the economy, the new government is cutting funding for women's* policy, education, social affairs and culture.
Women's* politics is relegated to the Federal Chancellery as a "women's issue".
The demands since the introduction of women's suffrage are almost identical, such as equal pay for work of equal value and self-determination over one's own body. Now - 100 years later - we no longer want to discuss equal treatment and self-determination, we are demanding our share of power! We - women*, queer, trans and inter people - stand together loudly against retro politics! Let's form a bloc that is as diverse as we are!
