WOMEN*Strike
Enough is enough!!! And it has been for a long time!!! But finally the time has come: WE ARE ON STRIKE!!!
24 October 2025:
- Church forecourt Ottensheim, 3 - 5 pm
- Parliament in Vienna from 5 pm
Inspired by the Icelandic women's strike, which will mark its 50th anniversary on 24 October 2025 and initiated a process that today makes Iceland the most liveable country on earth for women*. Gender inequality there is the lowest in the world.
That's what we want too: here and now and immediately!!!
Against exhaustion!!! Wealth for all genders!!!
Join us! Join us! Join us! Lie down! Put yourselves across! Do nothing! In the big Austrian WOMEN*strike!!!
24 October 2025 from 5 pm in front of the parliament in Vienna - and WE will join in from here: on the church forecourt in Ottensheim - from 3 pm to 6 pm - we will lie down, preferably on red cushions, blankets and cloths and DO NOTHING!!!
WOMEN*strike always and everywhere!!! Keep on striking as long as you can and want to!
If you don't have the time or energy to come, or are far away from the venues, just lie down where you are, covered in red, and stay there as long as you can and want to. Maybe she* asks someone to take a photo of her*. We start the WOMEN*strike on 24.10.2025 and continue until we have achieved our goals!
