OVAL OFFICE, this time at the Art University Linz, proudly presented: "Fuck you - I am not feeling it... your version of happiness is really problematic for me" with the current president Karin Michalski. She is an artist, film curator and lecturer in Berlin. Michalski explained and presented different projects related to the impasse, the situation that is so difficult that no progress can be made.

The OVAL OFFICE Linz is a tribute to the Oval Office in the White House, the famous room with no rough edges. It is a place for discussions, performances, installations, readings - presented by changing presidents and their counselors.

In the middle of October a concert of French female rapper Pumpkin took place in the Stadtwerkstatt. She made her first moves into Hip Hop in the nineties under the influence of MC Solaar. Since then Pumpkin released several EPs and collaborated with many other rap artists. In 2014 she started touring with Vin’S da Cuero.

Before their performance in the Stadtwerkstatt, Pumpkin held a workshop: An Introduction to the French Female Rap Scene & Writing and Rapping is for Everyone!

We took part in the workshop and recorded as well an interview with her.

The event was organized by The Empress Club.
