FIFTITU% Strategy 2022 - 2023
FIFTITU% has been a feminist organization committed to the visibility and promotion of women* in art and culture since 1998. The networking and advice center works continuously to implement better conditions for women* in the arts and culture sector. As the only platform of its kind in Austria, FIFTITU% offers not only cultural and women's political work, but also concrete advice and support for professionalization. In this way, FIFTITU% supports women* and queers* in the arts and culture scene to assert themselves and strengthen their position.

We all know it: the fear of the white page. Or the shame when you have to summarize the most important topics of your own project in just a few words. Writing can sometimes be very difficult. Methods from freewriting, intuitive writing, can help us develop a relaxed approach to writing and discover it as an important resource for our artistic work and our empowerment. We create a monster gallery, boost our creative self-confidence and celebrate our handwriting. The workshop will alternate short theoretical blocks with writing exercises, which will be discussed afterwards. Don't worry: what we do here has nothing to do with German exercises or anything similar. Nobody has to read aloud. We're just trying things out and writing for ourselves.

Lisa-Viktoria Niederberger is a freelance author and cultural worker from Linz. She is currently working on her novel manuscript and the children's book series "Stadt-Abenteuer mit Nali und Nora" and sometimes gets loud for climate protection and feminism. Her artistic work was awarded the City of Linz Art Promotion Prize and the Theodor Körner Fund Promotion Prize in 2021. Lisa-Viktoria Niederberger has regularly led writing workshops since 2020 and is a member of the Professional Association of Austrian Writing Educators.
